Candied Smokies Wrapped in a Piggy Blanket
(Sugar free, Keto Friendly)

Ingredients:
- 16oz package little Smokies
- 15 slices bacon, cut into 3 smaller sections
- 3/4 cup homemade brown Monk Fruit (See recipe notes)
- 3/4 cup pecans
- 3 tablespoons sugar free maple syrup I use Lakanto maple syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper or to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare a jelly roll pan (or large baking sheet with a rim), with a layer of parchment paper. Set aside. Preheat oven to 350 F degrees.
- Add brown Monk Fruit and pecans to food processor.
- Pulse until pecans are finely chopped.
- Add cayenne pepper and pulse again.
- Pat sausages dry with a paper towel and wrap each individual sausage with a piece of the cut bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
- Coat them in the rub. Be careful of the toothpicks. Repeat with all remaining sausages/bacon.
- Line sugar rubbed sausage/bacon on prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle maple syrup over sausage/bacon.
- Bake 25-30 minutes, until bacon is browned.

Brown Monk Fruit recipe:
Ingredients
- 1 cup Monk Fruit
- 3/4 teaspoon Mapliene (or your favorite maple extract)
- 3/4 teaspoon stevia glycerite ( optional but keeps recipe soft
Instructions:
- Mix ingredients together with a fork.
- Store in air tight bag/container.
- Use in place of brown sugar.
